In 1964, Mr Chookiat and Mrs Jiraporn Ruayjareonsap established Mae-Ruay Factory Co Ltd as a producer of fried peanut and shrimp slice rice, with only a hand full of employees. The factory was located on Ekkachai-BAngkuntien Road. By

1976, the Company launched its most popular snack “Koh-Kae”, a coconut cream-based crispy peanut. Ever since, Koh-Kae has become a favorite snack that is enjoyed by both children and adults for its addictive crunchiness. It wasn’t long before the Thai market became hooked to our products, and by 1977 the Company was in need of expansion.

We relocated to Rama II road, situated on 12 acres of space.
